Kibale National Park covers approximately 795 square kilometers of tropical rainforest and is home to 13 primate species.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Kibale National Park
Depart from Kampala and drive to Kibale National Park via Fort Portal.
Enjoy scenic views of tea plantations, crater lakes, and rural landscapes.
Arrival in the evening, check-in, dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking & Transfer to Bwindi
Start early with chimpanzee tracking in Kibale National Park.
Once located, spend one hour observing the chimpanzees in their natural habitat.
After lunch, transfer south to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and reach late evening in the Buhoma sector
Dinner and overnight near the park.
Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
After an early briefing, begin your gorilla trekking experience.
This once-in-a-lifetime adventure takes you deep into the forest in search of a habituated gorilla family.
Once found, you will spend one unforgettable hour observing them—watching their behavior, social interactions, and movements.
Return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.
Day 4: Return to Kampala
After breakfast, begin your journey back to Kampala with scenic stopovers along the way.
Arrival in the evening marks the end of your Uganda primate safari.

Kampala To Kibale National Park
Leave Kampala after breakfast for the fascinating drive through papyrus swamps and thick jungle of the Nile Delta to Kibale National Park just under the Ruwenzori Mountains and afternoon guided walk in the crater lakes area of the park for an outstanding cultural visit and transfer to the lodge for overnight.Accommodation Category:

Chimpanzee Trekking In Kibale Forest National Park And Transfer To Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Park.
The half-day search of chimpanzee and 10 other primates including phoestes, red Colobus, blues, and red-tailed and grey-cheeked mangabey. The guide will provide detailed explanations, not only on primates but also on all the forest fauna and flora and will ensure that your walk is both informative and enjoyable.This walk is excellent for viewing bird life and seeing primates at close quarters. After lunch, proceed to Bwindi via Queen Elizabeth National Park and here you may spot a lot of wildlife including Elephants, Buffaloes, among others. This is the lushest highland rain forest on earth, filled with primates and exotic birds, valleys, hilltops, and papyrus swamps.

Bwindi Gorilla Trekking
Begin the day with breakfast ready for trekking, which begins at 8:00 am with a briefing from the UWA staff. Ensure to carry along with your rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, jungle boots, etc. The guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy Primates for a group you have been booked forDo not forget to take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare Mountain Gorilla, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. The tracking may take between 2 and 6 hours but it’s well worth the effort. The afternoon is spent on a village walk.
The Buhoma Village Walk gives you a great opportunity to visit the people surrounding Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. It is also a great way to support the local community directly. The Walk begins with your guide at Buhoma Community Rest Camp and is most informative, rewarding to the average visitor. It will amaze you how resourceful the local people are as you see and learn their ways, and finally Dinner, and overnight.

Bwindi To Kampala OR Entebbe
Return to Kampala /Entebbe, with en-route lunch and stopover at Igongo cultural center to explore the lifestyle of the Ankole and Bahima, thereafter proceed to the Equator Uganda before your evening flight back home. Meal plan: (B, L).
