16 Days Uganda Chimpanzee and Gorilla Trekking Tour - River Nile, Murchison falls, Kibale forest, Queen Elizabeth, Lake Mburo, Lake Bunyonyi, and Bwindi Impenetrable National Park A little information about the National Parks: Murchison Falls National Park is the largest wildlife conservation area in Uganda. It is the only park that offers a real chance of seeing all the big five mammals in Uganda. Kibale National Park is one of the best places for tracking small primates in the world. Over 12 species can be sighted including the common chimpanzee. Queen Elizabeth National park on the other hand is arguably the most visited national park in Uganda. What makes it unique is the landscape and beautiful scenery. The beautiful scenery is a result of ancient earth movements which created crater lakes, gorges, valleys, and other creations. The park remains relatively green throughout the year. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is home to about half of the overall population of Mountain gorillas. Bwindi is a UNESCO World Heritage site because of its remarkable biodiversity. Lake Mburo national park is Uganda’s smallest savannah National Park. The park is an excellent antelope and zebra habitat. It is also arguably the best place to spot leopards.
