South Sudan Mundari Cattle Camps and Dinka cattle camps Tour

Mundari|Mundari people|mundari cattle camp|mundari cattle|Mundari tour|Dinka|Dinka people|Dinka Cattle|Dinka cattle Camp |Dinka Cattle Camp. This 8 Days- South Sudan Tour - Mundari Tour and Dinka cattle camps photo tour focus on taking you to places, which have a unique appeal to photographers. We seek the beauty of landscape and seascape, the heritage of cultural diversity, and the bustle of street and marketplaces.

Effectively, photography through geography, we shall seek the best moments, light, and opportunities to compose shots, which reflect upon those inimitable moments. We feel it is of value to immerse ourselves in local culture through, not only through people and landscapes but also, where feasible, through culinary experience and accommodation, which is culturally sympathetic.

Interaction and understanding and, where feasible, spending time with people, make moments and images more meaningful. We pride ourselves on a ‘hands-on’ approach, which enables clients to avail of sessions in which there are photo critiques and a chance to reflect on images captured whilst on tour. It is recommended that all participants bring laptops or tablets so that we can benefit from interaction and discussion, and ways of editing our images to get a result reflecting your own unique style.

Please Note: The Dinka People And Mundari are one of the populous of South Sudan’s tribes. The majority of Dinka and Mundari are still nomadic pastoralists and their cattle camps, which often contain 500 head or more of cattle, offer a fascinating insight into their traditional way of life. Much of South Sudan’s culture and history is derived from the importance of cattle: they’re the principal source of wealth and prestige, and, when pastures are scarce, the reason for so much conflict.

With over 500 cows, this cattle camp offers a fascinating insight into the most populous and arguably most politically influential of South Sudan’s tribes.

The Dinka and Mundari are one of the most prominent cattle-herding tribes and a visit to one of their cattle camps, where young boys and cattle live side by side, is to see into the heart of their community and learn about the central role these animals play.
