Day-by-Day Itinerary Summary

Day 1: Arrival in Uganda

Arrival at Entebbe International Airport. Meet your safari guide and transfer to your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Transfer to Kibale National Park

Drive through scenic countryside, tea plantations, and Fort Portal town with views of the Rwenzori Mountains.
Overnight near Kibale Forest.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking – Kibale Forest

Early morning briefing, then enter the forest for chimpanzee tracking. Spend one hour observing chimpanzees in their natural habitat.

Afternoon: Bigodi Swamp Walk & community experience.

Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Drive through the crater lakes region into one of Uganda’s most biodiverse parks.

Day 5: Game Drive & Boat Cruise

Morning game drive to spot elephants, buffalo, lions, leopards, and Uganda kobs.
Afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel with hippos, crocodiles, and birds.

Day 6: Ishasha – Tree Climbing Lions

Drive to the southern Ishasha sector in search of rare tree-climbing lions resting in fig trees.

Day 7: Transfer to Bwindi Forest

Journey into the misty highlands of southwestern Uganda, home of the endangered mountain gorillas.

Day 8: Gorilla Trekking Experience

Full-day gorilla trekking adventure in Bwindi. Spend one magical hour with a gorilla family after tracking them through dense rainforest.

Day 9: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

Travel to a smaller but scenic park famous for zebras, impalas, and walking safaris. Optional boat ride or guided nature walk.

Day 10: Return to Kampala / Departure

Morning short game drive, then drive back to Kampala with a stop at the Uganda Equator for photos and souvenirs.
